It is rarely I would voice a personal opinion... yet...
I have been sailing all most of my life. IOR, IMS, One Design, crusing, professional charter boats and more are not new to me.
For the last three years, the America's Cup has been a focus for me. It is not because I am ignorant enough to believe that the event is the "pinacle of sailing". Boats are generally pointed in the front and less so in the arse end. The America's Cup hasn't changed that.
I am on the other hand extremely dissapointed by the lack of fore thought
